Getting the West of England buzzing!

We were thrilled recently to be involved in a new project in the Bristol area, with the aim of helping to get the West of England buzzing. In a new awards initiative, the very first Bee Bold Awards were held in early October - and an army of volunteers planted a massive 8,000 wildflower plug plants to create a new space for wildlife.

Horatio’s Garden: making a difference

Horatio's Garden is a charity which builds beautiful gardens in spinal centres around the UK, providing much-needed respite to the patients, families and staff who spend time at these leading-edge medical facilities. When the charity's fundraisers asked if we could spare some garden tools, we were happy to help.

Plot-to-plate inspiration at River Cottage

A trip to the glorious Devon countryside in the height of summer, and an opportunity to visit River Cottage, Hugh-Fearnley-Whittingstall's famous foodie destination. A tour of the  kitchen garden and polytunnels gave us food for thought, and the chance to test the delicious food was the icing on the cake!
