At Burgon & Ball, we work closely with a number of partners, to ensure that the tools and accessories we offer are of the highest quality, as well as being exceptionally stylish. We are known for our innovative approach, and work with our partners to develop exciting new products to solve real problems experienced by real gardeners. As well as our insistence on quality, we passionately believe that stylish design should be an intrinsic characteristic of all our products. We collaborate with respected established designers as well as exciting new talent, to create some of the most stylish and desirable gardening tools and gifts around.

Founded in 1804, the Royal Horticultural Society is the UK's leading gardening charity and is one of the world’s leading horticultural organisations. The society works to promote horticulture through its gardens around the UK, and through flower shows such as the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The Society has been a trusted source of gardening advice, the latest research, and recommendations on best practice in the garden for over two hundred years, with generations of gardeners looking to the RHS for inspiration and expertise.

Burgon & Ball’s ranges of cutting tools and stainless steel garden tools were endorsed by the RHS in 2012, and we have worked together closely ever since. Our tools are used by the gardeners at the RHS gardens around the UK, and we have worked in collaboration with the RHS to develop specific tools requested by RHS gardeners, such as the Culti-Rake. For peace of mind, all tools in the Burgon & Ball RHS-endorsed ranges come with either a lifetime guarantee (for stainless steel tools), or a ten-year guarantee (for cutting tools).

In addition, we have collaborated on popular new product ranges such as the RHS Gifts for Gardeners collections, which feature beautiful historic botanical artwork from the RHS Lindley Collections; and the fluorescent FloraBrite collection, developed in response to requests at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for ‘unlosable’ tools.

Sophie Conran is a designer, gardener, cook, author and entrepreneur, and is the only daughter in the renowned Conran British design dynasty. Since launching the Sophie Conran for Burgon & Ball range to great acclaim in 2010, Sophie has worked with Burgon & Ball on a wide range of products, winning numerous awards. The range includes beautiful giftware, accessories for the style-conscious home, and outdoor living essentials. In particular, the collection of Sophie’s garden tools has been designed to be slightly smaller and lighter than most, and enjoys a near-cult following among keen gardeners.

Established in 1996, Anti Copying in Design (ACID) is a membership trade organisation, working to raise awareness of, and encouraging respect for, Intellectual Property (IP). Burgon & Ball is a member of ACID, supporting the organisation as it works to tackle intellectual property rights abuse.

As an established designer of innovative new products, we work with ACID to protect the substantial investment we make in our UK-based design team and its creative new product development.

Since 1927, the National Garden Scheme has helped garden owners open their beautiful gardens to the public, sharing their passion and raising impressive amounts of money for charity through entry fees, teas and slices of cake. The organisation is the most significant charitable funder of nursing charities in the country, donating over £50 million so far.

Burgon & Ball has supported the organisation for many years in a variety of ways, including presenting beautifully engraved commemorative RHS-endorsed trowels to participants who have welcomed visitors for ten and for twenty years.
