The blades of these sheep shears are proudly marked ‘T.U.S.’ (Trade Union Shears), and are slightly broader than shear patterns used in other regions of the world. The blades are ‘swaged’, or sharpened on both sides of each blade, to slide easily into and through the fleece, for maximum shearing speed. All shears can be supplied ‘bent’ if required, to keep knuckles away from the fleece.
