All you need to do to enter is to leave a comment on this blog, briefly outlining your plans for your garden in 2021. Scroll to the bottom of this page to comment (your email address won't be published). You’ll also need to be a subscriber to our monthly email newsletter to be a winner, so if you're not already signed up, fill in your email address in the grey band right at the bottom of this page. You can unsubscribe at any time if you don’t enjoy our monthly updates.
Your plans for your 2021 garden might be simple - ours is to plant more white flowers in the wildlife bed, to keep the all-day buffet going after dark so the moths can enjoy it too. You may want to grow more of your own fruit and veg next year, or branch out into new and unusual crops. Perhaps you have your eye on trying some heritage varieties of familiar favourites.
Or you might have grander plans - a new greenhouse, perhaps, to accommodate the ever-growing plant population in your garden. Or perhaps grander still, if you're lucky enough to have the space to play with - maybe a wildlife pond, landscaping a terrace on a gradient, or planting a copse of native trees... Whatever gardening vision you see in your mind's eye, we'd love to hear about it!

This giveaway is open to UK residents over the age of 18 only. No purchase necessary. No cash alternative is available. The winner will be chosen on the basis of the most inspiring gardening plans for 2021 and the judges’ decision will be final. One winner will receive one (1) pack of gardening tools from Burgon & Ball, either the Avid Allotmenteer of the Gorgeous Gardener prize as outlined above. Prize draw opens at 00:01 on 28/12/2020 and closes at 23:59 on 03/01/2021. Winner will be contacted by Burgon & Ball shortly after the closing date. Employees of Burgon & Ball and their family members aren’t eligible to win. One entry per person; entries created by a bot or a service that automatically enters participants are not eligible to win. We draw your attention to our privacy policy here. Bought our cottage days before the first lockdown. When we were allowed to visit the garden was completely overgrown with vines, brambles and weeds. We have managed to clear the garden in between lockdown and renovations and would like to put in a patio, a vegetable plot and an area for wild flowers. Would also like to repair greenhouse and put to use.
This year I am planning on making a garden full of vegetables that I will leave on a table on the road so that people can help themselves. I saw people doing it during lockdown and it inspired me to do the same. I will put 4 water butts in the garden so that I don’t waste water and hopefully it will help a little some people who are struggling with affording fresh food during the pandemic.
Starting a vegetable patch in an adjacent field, from scratch. Aim to produce 50% of veggie needs.
Our garden is quite bare, so we’ll be looking to plant some flowers, lay some grass and add an area for relaxing
My garden goals for 2021 are a new shed, bigger vegetable growing area, and grow lots of herbs, lastly my borders need more colour.
