Burgon & Ball has launched BoronGreen®, a major new RHS-endorsed tool range that marks a revolution in gardening tools.
The patent-pending BoronGreen range offers the strength and durability of boron steel, coupled with ambitious sustainability credentials - including 80% recycled steel. It’s believed that this unique combination marks a first in UK garden tools.
The addition of the element boron to carbon steel creates a new level of performance. This composition of steel has long been used in cars and farm equipment to deliver stronger structures and longer-lasting wear parts. There’s a tough powder coating in dark green to protect the steel, and a visible sharpened edge on spade, trowel, etc. The FSC®-certified white ash is selected for its strength and shock-absorbing properties, and the grip is carefully thermo-treated for increased durability and moisture resistance.
