GIMA award for new RHS-endorsed tools

We were thrilled recently to win top honours at the prestigious GIMA Awards for the latest introductions in our collection of RHS-endorsed tools.

We took first place in the ‘Garden Tools, Machinery and Implements’ category with this year’s new introductions to our RHS-endorsed hand tools range. The three new trowels have been created to help gardeners enjoy planting, that most creative and enjoyable aspect of gardening.

Planting is the top-selling category of stainless steel tools. The new trowels have been created to help retailers make the most of the opportunities offered by planting. The designs give gardeners tools tailored to specific planting tasks, rather than relying on the traditional one-size-fits-all trowel for everything.

RHS-endorsed Groundbreaker trowel

The heart-shaped planting trowel is perfect for shallow digging and scooping – ideal for plug plants and smaller bulbs. The Groundbreaker trowel is based on the shape of our popular Groundbreaker spade, and the sharpened pointed head is ideal for digging in challenging ground. And the weeding trowel is a handy all-rounder that’s great for digging in small spaces, transplanting, weeding and more. Like all our RHS-endorsed stainless steel tools, all three new trowels are covered by our lifetime guarantee.

We knew the collection is loved by gardeners. This award reveals that the collection is a hit with the top industry judges, too. The GIMA judges described the new tools as “a lovely addition to a really comprehensive range of quality hand tools”.

We put a lot of work into designing our tools to be not only useful to gardeners, but to be beautiful, too – and this award demonstrates that these tools really are something special.

Please contact your Area Sales Manager if you’d like to stock these award-winning new designs.
