Due to the start of the Covid-19 lockdown in England (November 2020), here is a quick update from Burgon & Ball.

We are still taking orders online, and our online shop remains open for business.

In these extraordinary times, keeping our people safe is a top priority for us, and as a result we have changed how we fulfill your orders. In the coming weeks, it's possible that it might take a little longer to get your order to you, but at the moment we are offering our normal service.

This year many of us have spent more time at home than usual. Simply being outdoors brings significant mental and physical benefits, and gardening is a great activity for all the family. Although the days are shorter now, there's still plenty to do in the garden, and lots of ways to prepare for next year's growing.

Since March we have seen unprecedented demand for our gardening tools, accessories and gifts, with an estimated three million people in the UK becoming new gardeners. It's great news that that so many people now share our passion for gardening, but unfortunately it has left us experiencing stock issues on some items. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Please do use the 'Item out of stock - notify me!' button on the product page to receive an automated email alert when the item comes back into stock. If you enter your email address to sign up for a product alert, it will only be used for this purpose; we will not see it, use it for marketing, or keep it on record - unless you sign up separately for our email newsletter.

Please stay safe and thank you for your understanding.

Life after Chelsea: a show garden to inspire

At Chelsea this year we supported Joe and Laura Carey with tools for the build of their gold medal-winning Talitha Arts garden. Two months on, the garden is already welcoming the community in a new London location. We wanted to learn more about the garden's new home, and catch up with Joe about the Chelsea experience.
