Covid-19 update

UPDATE 6 July 2020

We are now once again able to offer our normal service for orders from our online shop.

That means we are despatching website orders within 3-5 working days, and are also able to offer our next day express delivery option (for orders placed before a 2pm cut-off).

We'd like to thank all our customers for their understanding and patience in recent months, as we have worked to despatch orders while operating in new ways in order to keep our people safe.

We must also thank all of our hardworking teams, who have managed to provide an extraordinary service in difficult circumstances.

1 April 2020

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, here is a quick update from Burgon & Ball.

Our online shop remains open for business, and we continue to take orders online.

Many of us are facing spending a lot of time at home in the coming weeks and months, and if you have access to outdoor space, gardening is a great way for the whole family to pass the time.

In these extraordinary times, keeping our people safe is a top priority for us, and as a result we have changed how we fulfill your orders. It might take a little longer to get your order to you, and unfortunately we are no longer able to offer an overnight express delivery option.

If how we work needs to change further as a result of the developing situation, we will of course provide further updates.

We ask that you please bear with us as we try to maintain our service at this extraordinary time.

Please stay safe and thank you for your understanding.

  • Thank you! My fork broke after only a couple of years and I emailed you. You apologised, explaining that occasionally an air pocket causes this and quickly replaced it with no fuss. Perfect service (and a brilliant fork!)

  • Hi Jane, our normal shipping of 3-5 working days has been slowed by the huge volume of orders we’ve been seeing. At times over the last few months, delays have been up to 10 working days for order processing. However, at the moment, it’s faster than that. Please be prepared for a delay of around a week. Sorry for the delay – our teams are working very hard in challenging times. Thanks for your patience.

  • How long can I expect to wait for an order to be dispatched given the current situation? Thanks!
