Chelsea's here! A whole week of gorgeous gardens

At last, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is here! We love our week in the thick of the action at Chelsea each year, and we're lucky to have a stand on Main Avenue at the show, in amongst the gardens. It's perfect for spotting the celebs!

So what can visitors to our stand at the show see? Well, we'll be showcasing our new RHS-endorsed container tools, including a Chelsea Garden Product of the Year finalist - as well as introducing new high-performance Corona tools from the USA.

This is our twenty-third year at the event, and we're truly at the cutting edge of gardening, with an eye-catching museum-style display to showcase the importance of choosing the right tool for the task at hand, putting RHS-endorsed cutting tools in the spotlight. We offer the only garden tools at Chelsea to carry the prized RHS endorsement, which we think is quite an honour.

The new RHS-endorsed container gardening tools have been created especially for container gardening. Popular for its flexibility and style, gardening with containers does present its own unique challenges. This set of Chelsea Garden Product of the Year-nominated weeder, high-capacity compost scoop, and multi-purpose root and transplanting knife has been created to make container gardening easier and more enjoyable.

A compact tool that’s perfectly sized for use in pots, the RHS-endorsed container weeder which has made the Product of the Year finals has been designed for weeding right up to and around plant stems, without damaging the roots. The inturned blade can also be used almost horizontally to slice off any moss which may have grown on the surface.

The Corona range of high-performance tools from the USA will also be making its Chelsea début. Already a by-word for quality in North America and trusted by generations of gardeners and landscapers, Corona tools combine superb engineering with advanced technical features. This range of extremely durable tools is sure to get Chelsea visitors talking. They're just arriving in shops now, and we'll have a website up and running before too much longer, so watch this space.

For fans of indoor gardening, a new range of houseplant tools is on show at Chelsea for the first time. With specialist tools for the most popular types of houseplant, including orchids, succulents and bonsai, these tools are the perfect accessory for anyone who loves the lush and leafy interiors trend, and are perfect either as a gift or as a little helper for yourself. These are complemented by new additions to our popular indoor pots collection, with both new hanging pots and new standing pot designs.

Other new items on show are the popular new Express Hoe, which helps gardeners to whizz through the weeding in half the time, and the new Oak Leaf design in the popular Love The Glove range of gardening gloves, designed to match the best-loved colours in the Kneelo® range of garden kneelers and knee pads.

What's more, there's a very special show offer, only available for the duration of the show itself. We've put together an 'All You Need' gardening tool kit to get you up and running if Chelsea inspires you to flex your green fingers. Or you may fancy treating someone special to get them started on their dream garden. Don't worry if you can't make it to Chelsea, though, as the offer is also available on our website - but only until Saturday 25th May 2019. Read more here.

If you're lucky enough to be visiting the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this week, please do come along and say hello to us on Main Avenue, Stand CW/310.

Life after Chelsea: a show garden to inspire

At Chelsea this year we supported Joe and Laura Carey with tools for the build of their gold medal-winning Talitha Arts garden. Two months on, the garden is already welcoming the community in a new London location. We wanted to learn more about the garden's new home, and catch up with Joe about the Chelsea experience.

How to prune wisteria

We’re all a little bit in love with wisteria, aren’t we? It's a stunningly beautiful plant, managing to combine exuberance and elegance. Wisteria does best when it's kept in trim, as regular pruning will keep it from taking over,  while encouraging flowering. Here's our quick guide to how and when to prune wisteria.
